ABOUT ME

Welcome to my site! My name is Kylie Garrett, and I am a third-year MCDB major. I love going home to San Diego to spend time with my family. My mom was initially misdiagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease when I was a freshman at UCSB. She was later correctly

diagnosed with CIDP, but she continues to face challenges because there is still so much that is unknown about the disease. Experiencing the uncertainty of a parent's health firsthand inspired me to create this website. My hope is that the information and resources here will help children feel more informed and supported.
